THE ARTIST’ GALLERY

Here you will find all my previous works that are old and sold and some that do not exist anymore – which probably means I would have torn them, burnt them, or destroyed them by various other means. (yes, I have even tried eating the paper) CLICK HERE

I haven’t bothered uploading images of my really really old works, as I don’t have their images since I did not have a phone with a camera during that period, or there were no mobile phones yet, or I did not have access to a camera.

And now that I do, I am too lazy and private about those little old sketches which are part of my ‘mad journals’ stored well away so that my alter ego does not find it and destroy it.

I do a variety of art work and styles. My work with oil paintings have been purely abstract and with no thought or idea behind it. Most of them are in preparation for an exhibition (when I do get the chance for an actual one), however, since I do not have a studio space anymore, they are packed and stored and going through their own depression. I have done illustrations, graffiti, sketches, digital, pastels, colored pens, and the rest…whatever they are.

Enjoy what you see and see what you enjoy!

The best way to be updated about my recent work is by following my FACEBOOK page. Very often I do not have an access to a computer and I use my phone to take pictures and upload them directly on my page. As I also run my group online on Facebook – most of my daily engagements take place there when it concerns my personal work and my other area of focus = mental health/ mental illness/disability/other human rights.

Check the FAQ section on how to obtain my work and other related questions you might have.

You can always post a question for me to answer and I shall leave a reply behind. If it is too personal feel free to CONTACT me. I am always overloaded with emails and messages plus having to shuffle between my studies and making a living – this does not give me much time to reply immediately – but I always do reply.

So please be patient if I take a bit too long to reply. 🙂

Check the tabs on the left to guide through the site.
And check the archive section on the right for older post.

    Hi val,
I’m a borderline,my parents consider me as a shame. They always blame me for getting low marks in engineering. They never understand that i have tried. Still trying. They lock me in home while they go out. I sometimes burst out, break things. Cut myself, very rarely attack them. But thats only when im so fed up.. most of the time i keep silence when they use bad words at me. I had a therapist. But had bad experience there

Hi Reshma, you are an inspiration! Sorry, that we never spoke to each other, though we have met many times at the PG Block dining room when i used to come there to take classes for the MTh group. In general I hardly speak to students from other departments. Anyhow, Fr. Kuruvila just send the write up on you to us all staff members, and that’s how i came to read about you.
You are brilliant and very inspiring. Keep up the good spirits. God bless you!

Hi Reshma, Good morning.. As I am avid reader of JDV Notice Board. I saw your article on The Week- health issue. It was an inspiring article and life lesson as I read through the pages. Keep it up. Good luck and wishes to you. These are my words of encouragement. I am pursuing my 4th year theology at JDV and the registrar made available the copies of your article. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Kiran. Dope induced states of ‘schizophrenia’ are known to happen. On a larger picture I think schizophrenia or any ‘mental illness’ as such is a hard knock on our souls telling us to wake up from the illusions in this world.
